Mark Thomas Blazevic, 73, of McGregor, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, after a long battle with Cancer. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Mark managed his illness with strength and grace and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. He was born December 28, 1950 in Minneapolis to Nick and Joanne (Lindquist) Blazevic. He grew up in Minneapolis with his older brother and three younger sisters and graduated from Washburn High School.
Mark did everything with honesty and integrity. He had strong values, was well liked by everyone, and he always made time to help others. He was a devoted father and grandfather who created a fun environment for everyone. He loved being outdoors and his hobbies included fishing, hunting, and working on anything that needed fixing. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and was an avid football fan. Even in his last few days, he told stories from throughout his life, and he had a dream where he would be the one in the family to catch a 30"+ walleye! He liked that dream. He was preceded in death by his parents Nick and Joanne Blazevic, sister Sandra Blazevic, and his nephew Wade Johnson.
Mark is survived by his life partner of 18 years, Trudy Bunge of McGregor;
Children: Nick (Monique) Blazevic of Lakeville and Angela Blazevic (Seth) of Prior Lake;
Grandchildren: Makenzie Blazevic, Hunter Blazevic, Bryce Blazevic, and Morgan Zdon;
Older brother Michael Blazevic;
Younger sisters: Cindy Blair and Kathy Blazevic;
Many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
