Nancy Lee (Sherman) Trapp

Nancy Lee Trapp, 83, of Palisade, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 in Essentia St. Joseph’s Hospital, Brainerd.  She was born October 27, 1940 in Minneapolis to Harold and Francis (Conner) Sherman.  Nancy was united in marriage to David Trapp on June 18, 1960 in Minneapolis.  Nancy was Head Cook for the Richfield School District for several years.  She enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and gameshows, gardening, flowers, knitting, baking, sewing, watching the hummingbirds, feeding the deer and enjoying nature.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Hawke.

Nancy is survived by her husband, David Trapp; children, Cheryl (Christopher) Zoebisch and Mike (Jodi) Trapp; grandchildren, Andrew and Lucas (Andrea Brandt) Zoebisch, Justin (Katie Marx) Trapp and Casey (Alyssa Montero) Trapp; great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Paislee and Jaxxon.

Services will be Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 AM in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Aitkin with Pastor David Becker Officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  To leave a message of condolence, visit:  www.srtfuneral.com.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
