Ada Mae Merrill, 68 of McGregor, died after a long illness Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. She was born April 25, 1951 in Cloquet to Michael Merrill, Sr. and Orletta Saith (Greene) Sharlow.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sam and Ada; parents: Michael and Orletta; Step-dad: George; Good friend Marvin; and her Aunts and Uncles.

She is survived by her Son: Carl Boyd of Fairbanks, Alaska

and her Daughter: Michale Lewis – Pagh of Spokane, Washington;

2 Grandchildren Mikeal and Ashley; Great-grandchildren;

Brothers and Sisters: Michael, George, Carmen, and Orretta;

Uncle Dale and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will begin at Dusk on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the East Lake Community Center in East Lake – McGregor, and will continue until the Tribal Rites Service at 10:00A.M – Saturday at the Center. Burial will be at the Rice Lake Refuge Burial Grounds in McGregor.
