Beverly Marie Kemmet, 75 of Aitkin died Monday, April 29, 2019 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud following heart surgery. She was born December 1, 1943 in Aitkin to Einard and Helena (Lundquist) Puranen. She graduated from Aitkin High School Class of 1961. Beverly was united in marriage to Ronald C. Kemmet June 10, 1979 in Aitkin. She worked at Bares Bootery, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Aitkin. Beverly loved flowers, gardening, cooking, crafting, traveling and above all else, visiting with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Richard , Wilfred, Jerry and Jim Puranen; and her granddaughter Angel Rae.
Beverly is survived by her husband Ronald Kemmet;
7 Children and their spouses: Kelly (Faye) Kemmet, Kory Kemmet, Rita (Todd) Espeseth,
Elden (Wendy) Rueger, Diana (Ben) Gingery, Kasey (Ken Baldwin) Kemmet, and Chris Kemmet;
11 Grandchildren: Sean, Cole, Zachary, Justin, Abby, Alex, Annah, Grace, Elizabeth, Paul, Ruby;
Great-Granddaughter: Mabel;
Sister: Dorothy Grundy;
And many other special relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Beverly’s life will be at Shingwauk Village Lodge on Little Pine Lake near Aitkin at a later date.
Funeral services will be 1:00P.M. – Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Saint Johns Lutheran Church in Aitkin. Reverend David Becker will officiate.
