Frances Kay (Christensen) Watson

Frances Kay Watson, 75 of Palisade died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Arbor Oaks in Andover.  She was born December 8, 1943 in Aitkin to Arthur Joseph and May Sylvia Winifred (Bronner) Christensen.  She graduated from Aitkin High School.  Frances was united in marriage to Kile Warren Watson on July 1, 1961 in Palisade.  They lived in N.E. Minneapolis for a time until moving back to the Aitkin area near Palisade in 2010. They lived there until Kile passed away and then Frances moved to Arbor Oaks in Andover.  She was preceded in death by her husband Kile on December 29, 2014, Sister Doris Handt,

her parents, and grandson Kipp Keating.

Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Kevin (Jayne) Watson of Anoka;

Daughter and son-in-law: Cindy (Kipp) Keating of Florissant, CO.

Grandchildren: Amanda (Erik) Skogquist, Angela (Jason) Vevea, Timothy (Brittany) Watson,

Stephanie Watson (Justin LeClaire), and Amanda Keating;

Great-grandchildren: Everett, Oliver, Addison, Wilhelmina, Alexis, Leaonna, and Lily;

Sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy Lage, Karen (Robert) Carlson, and Marilyn (David) Ruud;

Many other special relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 11:00A.M. – Monday, June 10, 2019 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Palisade.  Reverend William Sass will officiate.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Aitkin.  www.srtfuneral.com
