Gloria Mae (Bertelsen) Kelley

Gloria Mae Kelley, 73, of Tamarack, passed away, Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home.  She was born October 3, 1945 in Vallejo, California to Jens and Tyyne (Tikkanen) Bertelsen.  Gloria graduate from Cromwell High School in 1963.  She was united in marriage to Robert Kelley on June 26, 1965 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Cromwell.  Gloria and Robert dairy farmed for 36 years and later began beef farming.  She also worked at Floe International.  Gloria was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tamarack, Tamarack Sno Flyers and Tamarack Golden Age.  Gloria enjoyed hunting, riding horse, snowmobiling, gardening, baking, cutting firewood and doing anything outdoors.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. 

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Robert Kelley of Aitkin; son, Kurt (Lisa) Kelley of McGregor; 2 daughters, Annette Kelley of Tamarack and Naomi (Joe) Larson of Tamarack; grandchildren, Shay, Heidi, Hannah and Shelby Kelley.  2 sisters, Carol (Bud) Evans of Reedsport, Oregon and Kathy (Ted) Rigel of Lakeside, Oregon.

Services will be Sunday, June 16 at 3 PM in Bethany Lutheran Church, Cromwell.  Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. until the 3 PM service in the church.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Clark Township at a later date.  To sign the guestbook online, go to:  www.srtfuneral.com.  Arrangements are with McGregor Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor.
