Harvey Joseph Jung

Harvey Joseph Jung, 78 of McGregor died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his residence.  He was born October 7, 1940 in Osakis, MN. to Joseph V. and Florence (Bergstrom) Jung.  He graduated from Alexandria High School.  Harvey was united in marriage to Letha Opal Mackenzie on November 11, 1961 in Dover, New Hampshire.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.  He worked as a Meat Cutter – Butcher in New Hampshire and then in Brooklyn Park at Red Owl and Super Value as a manager – meat cutter.  He was a member of the Minneapolis Retail Meat Cutters and Food Handlers, Meat Cutters Union, MRMC Local #653 and the VFW.  Harvey enjoyed socializing with anybody he would  meet. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Letha on February 27, 2014, his great-granddaughter, brother: Dennis, and his parents.

Harvey is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Tim (Julie) Jung

Grandchildren: Jenny Jung, Nicky Jung, John Jung, and Tim Jung, Jr.

Brother and sister-in-law: Tom (Bonnie) Jung

Sister: Jan Brock
