Jack A. Miller, 75 of McGregor died Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his residence in McGregor. He was born January 22, 1944 in Little Falls, New York to Albert “Babe” and Inez (Smith) Miller. He graduated from Stratford Central School in Stratford, New York. After graduating High School Jack entered the U.S. Military. He served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force and is a Vietnam War Veteran. Jack was united in marriage to Dianne Patricia (Pollard). In August of this year they would have been married for 45 years. He worked many jobs, retiring from Savanna Pallets in McGregor after working 10 years as a fork lift operator. He was an avid sports fan enjoying basketball and baseball and especially watching his favorite teams the NY Yankees and his favorite player Patrick Ewing with the NY Nicks.
Jack loved and was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his wife Dianne Patricia (Pollard) Miller of McGregor,
3 sons and daughters-in-law: Ted (Donna) Youker of Cloquet,
Rod (Kim) Youker of Little Falls, New York,
Ron Miller of McGregor,
3 Grandchildren: Laurie (Jason) Barta of Hibbing,
Alex (Adrea) Youker of Cloquet,
Aaron Youker of Superior, Wisconsin,
5 Great-grandchildren and many other special relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert “Babe” and Inez (Smith) Miller.
Funeral Service will be 11:00AM – Thursday, June 20, 2019 at McGregor Funeral Home in McGregor.
Reverend Ted Youker will officiate. Jo Schneider will play the congregational hymns: “In The Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. Military Honors will be accorded by McGregor VFW Larson-Duneen Post #2747 and American Legion Dale Wayrynen Post #23.
