Jodi Lynn Pedersen, 62, of Aitkin passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth. She was born October 5, 1956 in St. Paul to Ernie and Ann (Vaughn) Athen. Jodi was united in marriage to Larry Pedersen in Anoka. She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds, fishing for Northern, sitting on the deck at the lake, bowling, watching the Vikings, watching drag racing, watching her soaps, playing candy crush and especially spending time with her family and friends. Jodi had a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed.

Jodi is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; her pets, Susie “Doozer” and Sadie.

Jodi is survived by her daughter, Jessica Gilbertson; grandchildren, Julie (Tim Torell) Klitsch, Devon Gilbertson and Addie (Nathan Lindgren) Gilbertson; great grandson, Reid Lindgren; brother, Ernie (Cyndi) Athen; sister, Traci Schendel; nieces and nephews, Virginia (Nate) Baumgardner, Mia (Donte) Schendel and Paul Schendel many great nieces and nephews; friends, Kathy and Dave Reibel and friends from the Palisade Muni; pets, Parker and Reno.

A Celebration of Jodi’s Life will be held in early Summer.
