AMB.  Upon his discharge from the Army he returned to work at the Wood Conversion Co., Cloquet, MN.

He was a lifelong member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Wright, MN, having served on the church council, and was head usher for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Terry in 1965, Leonard in 1968, and Kenneth in 1971; sister-in-law Lorraine Hamren, sister-in-law Maureen Hamren, great nephew Jason Goodnight.

He is survived by brother Glen Hamren; nephews Thomas (Kim) Hamren and David (Nancy) Hamren; nieces Diane (Dallas) Warner, Kathryn Moss, Laura (Shane) Campbell, Gale (Richard) Thuermer, and Linda (Tim) Rose; 17 great nieces and nephews, and 8 great-great nieces and nephews.

Larry’s faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ carried him through trials and sorrow, gave him strength, and brought him great joy as he was a faithful servant.  His life truly was an example of living faith to all who knew him.
