Marie Gerturde (DesMarais) Bourget

Marie Gertrude Bourget, 73, of Aitkin, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Miller Dwan Medical Center, Duluth.  She was born June 14, 1946 in Rhode Island to Mark and Marie (DesMarais) Goving.  Marie was united in marriage to Al Bourget on February 3, 1978.  She enjoyed playing bingo and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Al and her parents.

Marie is survived by her children, Nicholas Bourget, Sr., Alicia Smith, Jeffrey (Heather Carlson) Bourget and Darlene Gonzales; grandchildren, Nicholas Bourget, Jr., Justin Bourget, Brady Bourget, Iysis Sesay and Kingston Kamangala; sister, Donna; brothers, Roland and Paul.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13 from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
