Paul Dolney Obituary

Paul James Dolney, age 74 of Tamarack died Tuesday, August 6 2019 at the Villa Vista Care Center in Cromwell, Mn.

Paul was born March 19, 1945 at Potosi, Wisconsin the son of Arthur and Myrtle (Crapp) Dolney. He grew up and attended schools in Potosi and graduated from the Potosi High School. He then served in the U.S. Army and upon his discharge traveled the Unites States for a couple of years before ending up in California. He married Maxine T. Brown on September 18, 1970 in Burbank, California. They lived in California and he worked as a manager for Northrup Aerospace division. In 1980 they moved to Tamarack, Mn. where they have made their home since. He worked for the Tamarack and McGregor Post Offices for 19 years driving a mail route. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting and also doing his mail route.

He is survived by his wife Maxine Dolney of Tamarack; Brother David (Marlene) Dolney of River Falls, Wisc. And 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor with Fr. David Forsman officiating. Military honors will be provided by the McGregor VFW and American Legion Posts. Memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice. Arrangements are with the McGregor Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
