Richard K. Busch, 93, of Aitkin, died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Aitkin Health Services in Aitkin. He was born January 13, 1926 in Duluth to Benjamin and Norma (Johnson) Busch, Sr. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WW II. Richard was united in marriage to Cleo Burdick December 22, 1956 in Bellevue, Washington. He had a passion for older automobiles and was a member of the Country Road Classic Car Club. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and he loved everything about trains, both model and rail road trains. He was very meticulous when building intricate model train and the display sets. He was preceded in death by his wife Cleo (Burdick) Busch on April 27, 2010, Brother: Benjamin, Jr., Sister: Pat,

Richard is survived by his son Johnnie of Hawaii;
Good friends: Bob and Linda Smith of Aitkin and Bob Backstrom of Deerwood;

A Graveside Service with military honors will be 10:00A.M. – Monday, September 30, 2019 at Spencer Cemetery, Spencer Township, near Aitkin. Reverend Dallas Smith will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded by the Aitkin VFW Roberts-Glad Post #1727 and Aitkin American Legion Lee Post #86.
