Agnes Mishler

Agnes  Josephine Mishler, 90 of Aitkin passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin.  She was born July 27, 1934 in Dubuque, Iowa.  She grew up in Dubuque and graduated from Saint Joseph’s Academy.  Agnes (Foulks) was united in marriage to Orvis Robert “Bob” Mishler.  Bob passed away on July 13, 1995.  She worked several different jobs, including for Aitkin County at the courthouse.  She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and being a volunteer grandmother at Rippleside Elementary School.  She was a member of Saint James Catholic Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, daughter Kelly (Mishler) Willard, 4 siblings and her parents.  Agnes is survived by 2 granddaughters and their spouses: Abbi & Kevin Lechner and Kennedy & Austin Stangel;  4 great-grandchildren: Reagan & Lincoln and Nora & McKinley; many other special relatives and friends who mourn her passing. 

Funeral service will be 11:00am – Friday, January 17, 2025 at Saint James Catholic Church in Aitkin.  Father Mike Patullo will be the officiant.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Saint Thomas Cemetery, Aitkin.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Aitkin.  To leave a message of condolence please go to www.srtfuneral.com
