Arthur “Art” James Schenk, Jr., 76, of Palisade, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Riverwood Healthcare Center, Aitkin. He was born February 28, 1944 in St. Paul to Arthur and Macella (Cunningham) Schenk, Sr. Arthur was a Veteran of The United States Navy who served during the Vietnam War. Arthur will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael; sisters, Theresa Ellis and Sarah “Sally” Annett.

Arthur is survived by his children, Cory (Amy) Schaller and their children, Megan, Steven, Sidney, Samuel and Jacob; Tracy (Laurie) Schaller and their children, Katlin and Jamie; Troy (Liz) Schaller and their children, Samantha, Isabella, Madelyn, Austyn, Troy Jr. and Aurora; Cary (Becky) Schaller and their children, Eli and Lilly and Jessica Benson and Her children, Olivia and Cable; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Dorman) Thompson, Susan (Robert) Murphy and Patricia (Dennis) Wright; brother-in-law, Thomas (Sue) Ellis, nephew Jason Ellis, and many other special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
