Barbara Mae (Booth) Konsor

Barbara Mae Konsor, 83 of Aitkin passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin.  She was born August 14, 1940 at home in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County near Bowlus MN the daughter of Raymond Cecil and Ruby Leona (Larsen) Booth.  She graduated from Upsala High School in 1958 and attended nursing school to become an LPN graduating in 1959.  Barbara was united in marriage to Benjamin George Konsor on June 11, 1960 in Elmdale. They moved from Elmdale to Aitkin in 1972. She was proud to be a farmers wife, she worked as an LPN until 1978, then started working in the Media Center at McGregor Schools from 1978 until her retirement in 2005.  She enjoyed arts & crafts, going to Polkas and family gatherings.  One way that Barbara served the Lord was by playing the piano and organ in church, a talent that she had since the age of 9 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Konsor in 2021, her parents Raymond and Ruby Booth and son in law Kevin Keil.

Barbara will be dearly missed by her children: Lisa Keil of Albertville, Kim (Vern) Karasch of Aitkin, Patrick Konsor of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Karin Cook of Roseville, Robert Konsor of Aitkin;

9 grandchildren, Jeremiah and Joshua Keil, Jacob and Jamie Swanson, Alexandra Schwanbeck, Nicole Hawkinson and Adam Cook and Kaitlin and Zachary Konsor;

9 great grandchildren;

Brother George (Dee) Booth of Bowlus;

Sister Benita (Dave) Baggenstoss of Little Falls;

other special relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00am – Monday, May 20, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 411 3rd Avenue NE, Little Falls, MN. 56345.  Visitation will be 5pm to 7pm with a prayer service at 6:45pm - Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin and will continue 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Elmdale Danish Lutheran Cemetery.  Go to www.srtfuneral.com to leave message of condolence.
