Billie O Adams

Billie O. Adams, 85 of Saint Peter & formerly of Aitkin passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.  He was born May 28, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.  Billie was united in marriage to Margaret (Chaves) on September 12, 1994 in Mankato.  In 1995 they relocated to the Aitkin area. Margaret passed away in 2008 and Billie moved to Saint Peter, MN. shortly after.  He worked as an over the road trucker for most of his life.  He enjoyed fishing and loved John Wayne movies.   He is survived by 6 children: Evelyn, Billy, Terri, Sarah, Jenice and John.  He is a grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.  He has many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law Larry Hopkins and Joe Arnold and many other special relatives and friends.  He will be missed dearly, God Bless Billie O. Adams.

Funeral service will be 1pm – Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, 31 MN. Ave. S. – Aitkin, MN. 56431.  Father Keith Bertram will be the officiant.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial with military honors will be in Saint Thomas Cemetery in Aitkin.  Go to www.srtfuneral.com to leave a message of condolence.
