Bradley “Bucky” G. Doree, 56 of Hill City, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at his home. He was born May 18, 1968 in Grand Rapids to LeRoy “Butch” and Marilyn (Gould) Doree. He graduated from Hill City High School in 1986 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He earned the rank of Sargent and was honorably discharged in 1994. He worked as a bricklayer by trade and was employed by Harbor City of Duluth. Bucky loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed bonfires, dirt roads and good tunes. He was preceded in death by his mom Marilyn Doree, nephew Randy Hilton, Rob King, best friends: Jim Wagner and Mike Washburn.
Bucky is survived by his son Damion Matthew Doree, dad LeRoy Doree, brother Brian Doree, sisters and brothers-in-law: Terri (Bob) King, Lori Hilton, Tammy (Dennis) Kingsley, Tracy (Tom) Noor and Mari Mijalis, and many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
A graveside service with military honors will be 10am - Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Macville Cemetery, Hay Point -Swatara. Following the service a celebration of Bucky’s life will be at the Corner Club. Arrangements are by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
