Carol (Hill) Johnson

Carol Johnson, 70 of Aitkin passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin.  She was born January 8, 1953 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Joseph and Anita (Thomas) Hill.  She was employed as office manager for the Psych - Neuro Clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Carol was united in marriage to Keith “Cecil” H. Johnson on August 22, 1987 in Fairbanks, Alaska.  She enjoyed fishing in the summer, cooking and tending to her flower garden.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Anita Hill and her brother Steven.

Carol is survived by her husband Keith “Cecil” H. Johnson of Aitkin,

Daughter and son-in-law: Erin (Rudy) Philippus,

3 grandchildren, Brother David, Sister Robin,

and many other special relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

A gathering of family and friends to Celebrate Carol’s life will be

1 to 3pm - Saturday, March 4, 2023 at The Landing in Aitkin.  Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery, Aitkin.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aitkin.
