Charlene Margaret (Weston) Landrus

Charlene Margaret (Weston) Landrus, 80, of Palisade, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born August 26, 1945 in Brainerd to Charles and Margaret (Johnson) Weston.  Charlene graduated from Aitkin High School in 1963 where she met the love of her life, Ronnie Landrus.  On June 12, 1965, Ronnie and Charlene were united in marriage at Bethel Lutheran Church in Palisade.  She worked as an accountant until her retirement in 2010.  Charlene loved gardening and feeding her hummingbirds.  Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Weston.

Charlene is survived by her best friend, her husband, Ronnie of Palisade; daughter, Sheila Schueller; grandchildren, Charles (Annah) Schueller and Courtney (Jeffrey) Weitzel; great grandchild, Ronnie; brother, Myrle (Rhonda) Weston; sister, MaryAnn (Peter) Ward; sister-in-law, Florence Landrus; brother-in-law, Arlen (Karen) Landrus; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
