Charles “Chuck” Fredrick Wark, 87, of Aitkin, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 in Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin. He was born May 12, 1938 in Parkers Prairie to George and Charlotte (Davis) Wark. Chuck was a Veteran of The United States Army who served in Greenland as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Chuck was united in marriage to Mary Ann Weets on April 29, 1961 in Henning, MN. Chuck was employed at Eagle Tool in Spring Lake Park, MN for many years. He enjoyed woodworking/building cabinets, watching the deer, fishing, being out in nature and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, George Wark, Jr., Donald Wark, Helen Campbell, Mary Lou Linser and David Wark; brother-in-law, Roger Linser; sisters-in-law, Dawn Wark, Jeannette Wark.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Rebecca (Adam) Hodkin, Elizabeth (Brian) Nelson, Charles (Jennifer) Wark, Jr.; grandchildren, Sophie Nelson, Eli Nelson, Owen Wark, Alex Wark and Kate Wark; siblings, Mervin Wark, Dale (Jan) Wark and Dennis Wark; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be Saturday, August 9th at 11 AM in Northwoods Community Church, 810 2nd Street NW, Aitkin. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Military honors will be provided by Aitkin American Legion Post #86 and Aitkin V.F.W. Post #1727. A luncheon will immediately follow in the fellowship hall.
