CLARENCE “CHESS” ALLEN GEVING
Clarence “Chess” Allen Geving, 80, of Blaine passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home. He was born August 24, 1939 in Tamarack to Emil and Cora (Anderson) Geving. Clarence was united in marriage to Patricia Orttel on February 16, 1963 in Constance. Clarence owned and operated Select American Methods and Advance Circuits Engineering. He was a member of Sons of Norway in Anoka. Clarence coached Little League for many years and was very active in the church. He enjoyed Norwegian Rosemaling, woodturning, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family at the cabin. Clarence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kenneth, Jim, Darrel, Michael, Wallace, Elaine, Be and Gladys.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife, Patty Geving; children, Gina (Dave) Pockrandt, Heidi (Danny) Williams, Corey Geving (Sonya), Andrew Geving (Jackie) ; grandchildren, Jamie Pockrandt, Ashley Abrahamson, Nicole Abrahamson and Allyson King;
sisters, Dorothy Miller, Irene Kidd, and Cindy Melser; brothers, Arthur Geving (Cathy), and Donald Geving; sister-in-law Bernis Geving; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
