Corrine Irene (Witz) Halvorson

Corrine Irene Halvorson, 73, of McGregor, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Riverwood Health Care Center, Aitkin.  She was born September 17, 1949 in Moose Lake to Carl and Vergene (Otten) Witz.  Corrine was united in marriage to Lyle James Halvorson on September 16, 1967 in Wright.  Corrine enjoyed gardening, knitting and especially spending time with her family.

Corrine is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle and her parents.

Corrine is survived by her children, Cheri Young, Tim (Tricia) Halvorson, Charles Halvorson, Terry Halvorson, Melissa Halvorson and Beth (Henry) Schultz; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Witz.

Services will be Saturday, March 18, at 11 AM in United Methodist Church of McGregor with Dianne Brennan officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be at a later date in Lakeview-Rat Lake Cemetery, Workman Township.  To sign the guestbook online, go to:  www.srtfuneral.com.  Arrangements are with McGregor Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor.
