Cory James Considine

The man, the myth, the legend: 

Age 75, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2026 surrounded by his children. He was born October 25, 1950, the son of Chauncey and Blanche Considine. Cory was the second of six children and the protector of the family. He grew up in Brooklyn Center, MN where he was an avid athlete and wild from a young age. Cory lived a full life and did more than most people could even imagine. 

Cory loved living on the edge and never said no to an opportunity. He was incredibly talented at everything he did and was a man of many abilities. He loved cars, motorcycles, and racing; baseball, boxing, and sailing; drawing, painting cars, and writing, Cory could do it all. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Cory loved to laugh and make others laugh. He always had a story to tell, and welcomed everyone with open arms. His home was a hub for activity, joy, and laughter for anyone who knew him. The door was always open, and he’d be happy to chat over a cup of coffee or a cold beer. 

Cory joined the United States Army at the age of 20. He served in Vietnam where he earned honors for his leadership and heroism amongst his comrades. Cory was 101st Airborne and military police in Korea. He never backed down. 

Cory worked hard his entire life, often holding multiple physical labor jobs at a time. No matter how hard he had to work, he never complained, and he never said no to helping others. Cory always ensured the people he cared for were taken care of; always one to bring food or do a project for someone in need.  He was actively involved in his community for decades. He coached countless youth sports, volunteered for school events, was a fire warden and town board member, amongst many other things. 

Above all else, Cory loved and cared for his family and friends. If you needed someone in your corner, Cory was your guy. A fierce defender and protector for those he loved and what he felt was right. Cory was tough and he was tender. 

Nothing meant more to him than his children. He was a deeply devoted father until his last breath. Cory would go to the ends of the Earth for his children and grandchildren. He spent every day prioritizing his children and ensuring they knew and felt his love. His caring soul will be remembered forever and eternally missed. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Craig and Clifford, two children, son-in-law James Tucker, and many cherished friends. He is survived by his children Samantha Tucker, Clint (Erin) Considine, Brody (Casie Ambuehl) Considine, Kaley (Adam) Beeman; grandchildren Jamie, Clara, Lucy, Peter, and Margaret; siblings Clay (Rocky) Considine, Coreen (John) Thum, and Carl (Nancy) Considine; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
