Curtis Morrill Petersen

Curtis Morrill Petersen, 81, of Aitkin, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Riverwood Health Care Center, Aitkin.  He was born November 13, 1941 in Mankato to Morrill “Pete” and Florence (Othoudt) Petersen.  Curtis grew up in Monticello and Big Lake.  Curtis lived in Minneapolis, Missouri and California.  He also did concrete work in Osseo.

Curtis is preceded in death by his wife, Jeffaries Martins and his parents.

Curtis is survived by his children, Terrance, Timothy and Todd; granddaughter, Nicole; siblings, Jean, Judy, John and Roy; significant other, Carol Stroschein; other relatives and friends.

To honor Curtis’ wishes, no services will be held.  Interment will be in Emily Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
