Danny Duane Warriner, 79 of McGregor died Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his home. He was born July 4, 1946 in Aitkin the son of Leon and Pauline (Knutson) Warriner. Danny was united in marriage to the love of his life Nancy Tuma in South Dakota on July 9, 1965. Together in 1971, they moved to the family homestead near McGregor, residing there for 54 years and where they raised their 3 children: Michelle, Daniel and Dayna. Danny went to college for Forestry and worked at the Big Sandy Lake DNR Office for 26 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and carving. Dan’s love for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was undeniable. Spending time with his family brought him immense joy. Dan’s love, kindness, generosity, wisdom and stories will be forever missed.

Brothers: Ricky Warriner and Dale Blakebrough,
Danny is survived by his children: Michelle Worms,
Daniel (Michelle) Warriner, Dayna (Rob) Geving;
Siblings: Teri (Stewart) Haen, Randy Warriner, Janet Warriner;
Grandchildren: Nickolas (LeeAnn) Worms, Nathaniel (Madison) Worms, Neil Worms(Jaimee Kretsch), Carly Worms (Esten Wollate), Meagan (Matt) Blanco, Madison Warriner, Ashley (Travis) Deegan, Shelby (Cody) Matthews;
Great-grandchildren: Avery, Finnely, Kora, Autumn, Hudson, Kennedy, Hallie and Isla and many other special relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
