David Wayne Appleyard

David Wayne “Apple” Appleyard, 72 of Palisade, MN. died Peacefully at his home on Monday, March 3, 2025 after a brief illness.  He was born February 27, 1953 in Madison, WI. the son of David F. and Joey (Hierlmeier) Appleyard.  He moved to Northfield, MN. and graduated from Northfield High School in 1971.  He attended the University of Minnesota and the University of North Dakota.  He moved to Trempealeau County, WI. in 1975 and began his career as Land Conservation Administrator.  David was united in marriage to Brenda (Olson) on March 28, 1987 in Eau Claire, WI.  He lived his life enjoying hunting, fishing, gardening and gaming with his buddy Graysen.  David loved his family very much.  He was preceded in death by his mother Joey Appleyard and brother Bucky Appleyard.  He is survived by his wife Brenda Appleyard of Palisade, MN.; Children: Justin Linberg of Whitehall, WI., Angel (Patrick) Wenk of Plymouth, MN. April (Nathan) Johnston of Brandon, MS.; Grandchildren: Graysen Wenk, Eveylou Johnston, Josiah Johnston and Eden Johnston; Father David F. Appleyard of Northfield, MN.; brother and sister-in-law Bob (Lynn) Appleyard of Blairsville, GA. and many other special relatives and friends who mourn his passing
