David Donald Lowe, 87, of Palisade, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 in Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin. He was born July 22, 1932 in Aitkin to David and Mary (Banks) Lowe. David graduated from Aitkin High School in 1950. David was a veteran of The United States Army who proudly served his country from January of 1954 to October of 1955. He was united in marriage to Glenna Gillson on December 16, 1955 in Aitkin. Farming was David’s life and he was also an excellent mechanic who could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his family. David was a member of Fleming United Methodist Church and Aitkin V.F.W. Post #1727.
David is preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Lowe and his parents.
David is survived by daughter, Susan (Greg) Kosbau of Blackduck; son, David (Michelle) Lowe of Cheney, Washington; grandchildren, Jeremy Lehman, Kimberly Hanna, Krista Kimberly, Candace Aramburu, Chelsea Lowe and Cameron Lowe; great grandchildren, Joshua, Micah, Makayla, Nicolas, Ethan, Dawson, Mason, Kennedy, Carson, Harrison, Hudson and Remi; special cousin, Laurie Wendorff; brothers-in-law, John (Barb) Woodrow of Aitkin and James (Josie) Gillson of Santa Clarita, California.
Services will be Saturday, October 19 at 11 AM in Fleming United Methodist Church with Pastor Dianne Brennan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
