Dennis Wayne Holm

Dennis Wayne Holm, 76, of McGregor, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Abbott Northwest Hospital, Minneapolis.  He was born March 20, 1948 in Aitkin to Martin and Dorothy (Tibbits) Holm.  He attended school in Palisade and Hill City.  Dennis was a veteran of The United States Army.  Dennis was united in marriage to Lois Rahn on October 11, 1969 in Aitkin.  Dennis was a dairy farmer for many years and was always there to lend a helping hand to neighboring farmers.  He also logged and was a custodian for The McGregor Schools.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. 

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dan Holm, David Holm, Dorothy Babcok, Donna Doust and Debra Goula.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Lois Holm; children, Steven (Stephine) Holm, Scott (Mary) Holm, Shelly Holm and Sherry Simon; grandchildren Raven Hokus, Mataus Holm, Shaila Holm, Angel Holm, Lexi Holm, Tyler Eckelmen, Tyra  Eckelmen, Melanie Simon, Autum Simon and Rebekah Simon; great grandchildren, Adison Eckelmen, Oaklyn Simon, Brantson Holm and Arthur Simon; siblings, Darrel (Marcia) Holm and Darlene (Robert) Amunson; sister-in-law, Susan Rahn; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1 PM in Tamarack Christian Church, 219 Nelson Ave. E., Tamarack, MN, United States, 55787 with Pastor Mike Fuqua officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Military Honors will be provided by Palisade V.F.W.
