Diane Lynn (Bromstad) Emery

Diane L. Emery, 74 of Garrison, died February 1, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 17, 1946  in Fosston to Joe and Mildred Bromstad.  She graduated from High School in Erskin and attended Beauty School.   Diane was united in marriage to Terence C. Emery on April 11, 1980 in Big Lake.  They would spend summers in Garrison, and at different camp grounds, they then moved to Carefree Acres south of Garrison.  She most recently worked as a quality control inspector.  She enjoyed baking cakes, playing Bingo, and going to meat raffles.  Diane loved her grandchildren and was a caregiver to her parents and spouse.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.   

Diane is survived by her husband Terence C. Emery of Garrison,

3 Sons: Randy and Eva,  Mike, and  Brad,   

1 Daughter: Paula and Robert,

4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild,

1 brother: Dick and Diane,

2 sisters: Jean and Bill,

Donna and Bob,

And many other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

A gathering of family and friends will be 4 to 6pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
