Donald Scot Morris

Donald Scot Morris, 67, of Aitkin, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 at his home. He was born on October 27th, 1958, to Richard and Marlys (Erickson) Morris.

Don graduated from Aitkin High School in 1976. He then attended University of Wisconsin Superior receiving his accounting degree in May 1980. He always made a point to mention that Arnold Schwanzenegger was a member of his graduating class. After graduating until 1996, he worked at various accounting firms in the United States. In 1996, he bought Morris-Morris CPAs in Aitkin with his brother Dale. In 2002, he married Sarah Snook. Together they had four children. In 2022 he sold his share of the partnership due to an eye injury.

Don enjoyed bowling on leagues in McGregor for many years. He was an avid deer hunter until 2022. He was a meticulous gardener and yard keeper.

Don is survived by his wife Sarah. His children Sydnee, Sophie, Elizabeth, and Aaron all of Aitkin. Mother, Marlys Morris of Aitkin. Brothers Doug and Dale (Janell) all of Aitkin. Sisters-in-laws Barb Morris of Deerwood, Emma (Rodger) Pratt of Deerwood, and Arlene (Erik) Sealander of Aitkin. Brothers-in-laws Mitchell (Ruth Warsal) Snook of Remer, Daryl (Mick) Snook of Brainerd, and Richard Snook of Ironton. Mother-in-law Jackie Snook of Ironton. Also, many nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Donald is preceded in death by his father, Richard Morris, brother Dennis, and father-in-law Arlen Snook.

Visitation will be on Friday October 16th from 4 to 7 PM at Bethesda Lutheran Church of Rossburg and will continue Saturday, October 17th from Noon until the 1 PM Service with a luncheon to follow.
