Dorothy Jean (Hurd) Glidden

Dorothy Jean Glidden, 86, of Aitkin, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Riverwood Healthcare Center, Aitkin.  She was born September 23, 1937 in Aitkin to Donald and Myrtle (Olson) Hurd.  Dorothy was united in marriage to Roger Glidden on June 13, 1959 in Aitkin.  Dorothy loved the outdoors, cooking and especially spending time with her family.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Helen Pommier.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Roger; children, Robert (Paula) Glidden and Pamela (Stan) O’Connor; grandchildren, Richard Glidden, Charlotte (Tom) Carlson, Melissa (Ethan) Skog, Jeff (Amanda) O’Connor, Matt (Celeste) O’Connor; great grandchildren, Taralynn, Ambree, Ellieann, Baylor, Tristan, Austin, Easton, Raegan, Mallory, Savanna and Blake; other relatives and friends.
