Duane Lee Martin

Duane Lee Martin, 80 of McGregor passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 at his home.  He was born August 26, 1945 in Fon Du Lac, Minnesota the son of Manual Martin and Gloria (Skinaway) Udell.  He graduated from South High School in Minneapolis.  Duane was united in marriage to Sharon Marie(Wiesner).  He was a machinist and worked for Northwest Airlines as a mechanic. He enjoyed basketball, fishing, camping, bon fires, but most of all Duane loved spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, great-grandson Aaron, 1 brother, 2 sisters, and his parents.  Duane is survived by  his son Darrin Martin; 2 daughters and son-in-law: Natalie Martin and Brenda (Douglas) Sexton; 4 grandchildren: Michael Fair (Charmaine Underwood), Sharon Martin, Andrew Martin, Alysha Martin (Joshua Johnson); 9 great-grandchildren: Natashja Fair, Brianna Fair, Michael Fair, Chance Fair, Logic Fair, Ronnie Johnson, Jr., Natalie Johnson, Avary Johnson, Sincere Underwood, one great-grandchild on the way; 1 great-great-grandson Curtis Fair; and many other special relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends for a memorial service will be 1pm – Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at McGregor Funeral Home in McGregor.  Visitation will begin at 12pm at the funeral home.  To leave a message of condolence go to www.srtfuneral.com
