Dwaine Boucher Obituary

Dwaine E. Boucher, 87 of Aitkin died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Aitkin Health Services.  He was born August 30, 1935 in Robbinsdale to Edmund and Dorothy (O’Borsky) Boucher.  He attended North High School in Minneapolis.  He was a very good baseball player, playing semi-pro baseball and fast pitch softball.  He worked in the Twin Cities in construction as a backhoe operator and also in the insurance and real estate industry.  Dwaine was united in marriage to Marilyn D. (Johnson) on November 30, 1985 in Aitkin.  They lived on a farm where Dwaine enjoyed working the land with his backhoe to make food plots and digging ponds for the different wildlife.  He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman and would travel to Canada to go duck and goose hunting. He enjoyed watching all sports, was a member of the MN. Deer Hunters Association and Ducks unlimited.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Ron Anderson and nephew Steven Anderson.

Dwaine is survived by his wife Marilyn of Aitkin;

Son: Bradley (Barbara) Boucher of Tennessee;

Step-children: Jeffrey (Laura) Schlagel of Aitkin, Steven (Susan) Schlagel of  Texas, Kathy (Rodney) Sparks of Nisswa, and Wendy (Joel) Holden of Park Rapids;

Grandchildren: Alex (Jeana) Boucher of Plymouth, Andy (Andrea) Boucher of Tennessee, and Adam (Natalie) Boucher of Tennessee.

Great-grandchildren: Elijah, Asher, Theodore, and Winona;

Sisters: CarLyn Anderson of Plymouth and Renee Gode of Ironton

Many special step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
