Emily Ann Mettling

Emily Ann Mettling, 45 of Garrison passed away October 26, 2024 after battling cancer for the past two years. She was born July 25, 1979 in Brainerd MN, the daughter of John and Nancy (Gish) Mettling. She graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 1997 and then attended the University of Minnesota – Crookston. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician for the past 25 years in Brainerd, Pierz and Aitkin.

Emily, as loveable as she was ornery, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, fishing, hunting and was an avid agate collector. 

She is survived by her parents John and Nancy Mettling of Federal Dam, her sister Elly Mettling (Grant Dorniden), special friend Bobby Garcia, many special Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, as well as friends, including her beloved little dogs.  

A memorial celebration will be held on November 30th, from 2:00 - 5:00 at the VFW Andrew Kokesh Post #1816 in Garrison.
