Obituary

Floyd Everett Kennen (Floydie, White Lightning, Captain Dumpling) 81, of Aitkin, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 5, 1938 in Windemere Township to Everett and Evelyn (Bangston) Kennen. Floyd is a veteran of The United States Air Force who served from 1955-1959.  He was united in marriage to Barbara Grant on October 27, 1979 in Isanti.  Floyd worked as a machinist for World Aerospace. He loved fishing, dancing, his poker games and his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Daughter Penny Sue Voss, Sister Marjorie Tracy and Brother Robert Kennen.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife Barbara, children; Charlotte Auger (Joseph), Barbara Jesser (David), Christine Tadych (Glen), Judith Grabinski (Mark), Shelley Kennen (George), Anthony Tadych and Sheila Jacobson (Drake), 10 Grandchildren; Monique Lewin (Danny), Amanda Stoffel (Joel), Jamie Palmquist (Jeff), Shaun Palmquist (Ashley), Zac Jesser (Emily), Taylor Auger (Jake), Maddie Jesser, Aidan Jacobson, Stella Jacobson, Oliver Jacobson, 14 great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Sullivan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A farewell party for Floyd is postponed until further notice due to COVID-19.
