Frank Delano “Dell” Ostronski, 82, of Aitkin, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Essentia-St. Joseph’s Hospital, Brainerd with loved ones by his side. He was born August 31, 1940 in Duluth to Edmund and Leona (Brandt) Ostronski. He was united in marriage to Linda Liljenquist on December 4, 2000. Through the years he served in The United States Marine Corps, worked in the entertainment business, recorded with likes of Conway Twitty. He was a radio show host, carpenter, Rabbi and founder of Trumpet America. He enjoyed traveling, studying and teaching the bible, maintaining his lawn, spoiling his dog, Zippy and life in general.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mike, Nick and Delores “Dori”.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Linda Liljenquist; children, Frank Ostronski, Jr., Katina Forrest and Jerri Ismdahl, Mary Kindgren, Debbie Hickey and Becky Lundberg; siblings, Janice (Gary) Nelson, Marshall (Julie) Ostronski, Beverly Ostronski and Dorothy Miller; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be Thursday, July 20 at 2PM in Bethesda Lutheran Church, Malmo with Reverend Michael Plack officiating and Reverend Dennis Plack assisting. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
