Frederick “Fred” Joseph Dahn, 78, of Aitkin passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his home. He was born November 17, 1945 in St. Paul to Lester and Mary (Perrault) Dahn. Fred was a veteran of The United States Air Force who served during the Vietnam War. Fred was an MTC Bus Driver for 30 years. Fred was united in marriage to Marianne “Mary” Ulvi on September 12, 1999 in Aitkin. Fred and Mary both worked at Grand Casino Mille Lacs until retiring. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching old westerns and sci fi movies and especially spending time with his family.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Angelica; great granddaughter, Arianna; brothers, Lester and Allen.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Patti (Scott), Wayne, Kelly, Nicole and Elizabeth; grandchildren, Kasi (Randy), Amanda, Barbara, Steven, Erica, Roberta, Keriana, Noah and Dakotah; great grandchildren, Laila, Jackson and Carter; siblings, Donnie and Billy.
Interment with Military Honors will be held Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at 1:45 P.M. at Assembly Area #3 in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
