Glenn "Benny" Richard Lambrecht

Glenn “Benny” Richard Lambrecht, 69, of Sturgeon Lake, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born December 15, 1953 in Shakopee to Arnold and Marie (Olk) Lambrecht.  Benny graduated from high school in 1971 and attended Hennepin Technical Trade Center.  He could build anything and had a passion for woodworking.  Benny enjoyed the outdoors, listening to country and reggae music and especially spending time with his kids and grandkids.  Benny will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Benny is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 10 years, Barbara; sister, Madylin Vanguilder; brother, Steve Lambrecht; niece, Jessica Lambrecht.

Benny is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Karen Patch, Aria (Brian) Hoen, Nina Schmidt, Jamie Dahl, Cheryl (Brian) Lindstrom and Leif Nyland; grandchildren, Christopher, Sunnie, Brandon, Allison, Camron, Brooke, Austin, Desirae, Amber, Cody, Bobbie and Carver; 4 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way; siblings, Bonnie Stewart and Dale (Cindy) Lambrecht; brothers-in-law, Harry Vanguilder and Gordon Bane; sister-in-law, Susan Hayden; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Benny’s Life will be held Saturday, June 10th from 12 PM to 3 PM in Evangelical Finnish Lutheran Church/Beaver Church, 12952 State Hwy 27, Sturgeon Lake.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.  To sign the guestbook online, go to:  www.srtfuneral.com.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
