Gordon Richard Hart

Gordon Richard Hart, 86, of Palisade, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin.  He was born September 14, 1936 in Deer River to Frank and Lena (Kossow) Hart.  Gordon resided in Deer River until he met Donna who he married on June 13, 1956 in Sisseton, South Dakota.  Gordon owned 5 milk trucks and 2 semis in the 60’s until he sold the trucks and went full time into farming and driving school bus.  He moved off the farm in the late 80’s and began working construction with Stewart Packer.  After retirement, Gordon and Donna started a business of antiques and collectables.  Gordon was an avid hunter and fisherman and took a lot of pride in the outdoors.  Gordon was a devoted Christian and took his beliefs very seriously.  He was devoted to his church and taught Sunday School.  In 1999-2000, he was very involved in the building project of Hill Top Chapel.  Gordon will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Gordon is preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents; son, Mike Hart; 2 siblings.

Gordon is survived by 2 sons, Steve (Wanda) Hart and Jon Hart; daughter, Terry Kriener; daughter-in-law, Janet Kingsley; grandchildren, Steven Hart, Chelsey (Hart) Wiggins and Casey Kriener; special friend, Leeann Huff; other relatives and friends.
