It is with great sadness, that the family of Gregory Alan Bickford (‘Sir Gregory’ - There is a story here!) announce his passing that occurred on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in Aitkin, MN at the age of 64. Gregory was surrounded by his family. He was born July 1, 1960 in Northridge, CA to Robert and Teresa “Teri” (Forbes) Bickford.
Gregory, a devoted son, brother & caring father, was God fearing & spent his life paying it forward as much as possible. Gregory loved motorcycles & playing guitar. He had a passion for fishing, golfing, hunting, music, auto racing, travel & helping others. Gregory graduated with a degree in Electronic Technology & he had many certifications on small engine mechanics. Gregory served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as an Airman wanting to be an Aircraft Mechanic.
Gregory is survived by his mother Teresa Bickford-Beardsley, sisters Pamela Bickford-Kuehn (Randy), Roberta Bickford-Gronquist, daughters Rossilynd Bickford-Finneman (Joseph) & Rachel Bickford and son Miles Bickford, nephew Matthew Lindberg, grandchildren Mikyla & Brayden Salisbury, Blaise & Nova Bickford and Colin & Aaron Bernin, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert K. Bickford & step-father Chuck Beardsley.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends & all who knew him. Gregory’s Epitaph:“Our purpose in life is to help others along the way!”.
Services will be Saturday, November 16 at 11 AM in St. James Catholic Church, Aitkin with Father Keith Bertram officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
