Heidi Ann Packer, born in North Dakota on May 16, 1981, to Dennis George Rach and Anna Mae Rach (Kozitka). She lived in Staples and has a brother, Chad Rach. Her senior year, she moved to Aitkin MN. On April 15, 2002, she had her first son Hunter Otto Rach, and around that, at the same time, she started working at Aicota Healthcare Center. Then she met Jori her future husband, but the only way she could get him to talk to her was to trap him in the shower. She did finally get him to talk to her, and she ended up moving in with him, and they bought a house in Palisade MN. Jori finally purposed to Heidi, and they got married August 18, 2007, in Aitkin. On September 15, 2008, she had another little boy, Alexander Lee Packer. She lived the simple life with fishing, four wheeling, and she loved doing crafts and crocheting different things. She finally decided in 2021 to go back to work, and she got a job at Riverwood Healthcare Center as a food service technician. She really loved this job and the people she saw and helped daily. She had decided she wanted to make it her career. However, in 2024 she had found out she has kidney disease and had to start dialysis and that same year she had a stroke, which slowed her down a little, but she was not going to give up. We moved to Aitkin after the passing of her dad in August 2025. She had so many plans as she felt her life was finally starting to move forward until November 15, 2025. Heidi will be dearly missed by so many people who knew her, and she definitely had a heart of gold.
Heidi is preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Ann Rach, an Aunt Nancy Holler in 2002, and her grandparents: Alfred and Lorraine Rach.
She is survived by her loving husband Jori Joe Packer, sons Hunter Rach-Packer, and Alexander Lee Packer.
