Irene Caroline (Leibel) Harding

Irene Caroline Harding, 86, of Aitkin, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024.  She was born February 5, 1938 in Minneapolis to Leonard and Maryetta (Rainer) Leibel.  Irene was united in marriage to Glenn Harding, Sr.  They were married for 48 years.  Irene spent most of her working career at Peavey Co. in Downtown Minneapolis. Irene was an avid romance novel reader, when not cooking delicious meals, you could find her reading. Irene and her husband loved to go fishing and always included the family in fishing trips which instilled the love of fishing into all of the grandkids. 

Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, Sr.; her parents.

Irene is survived by her children, Marvin (Julie) Harding of Buffalo, Thomas Harding of New Jersey and Glenn Harding, Jr. of Aitkin; grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Hickman, Samantha (Thomas) Fell and Jillian (Aaron) Yunes; 6 great grandchildren, Jordan, Jolyssa, Jazlynn, Leah, Jakob and Anabelle; 1 great great granddaughter, Journey; special girl, Autumn.
