Jane Carolee Ahonen

Jane Ahonen, 81 of Sturgeon Lake died Friday, June 20, 2025 at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson.  She was born September 12, 1943 in Cloquet the daughter of Theodore and Lila (Johnson) Mickelson.  She graduated from McGregor High School.  Jane was united in marriage to Maynard Ahonen in August of 1970.  She enjoyed working in a bakery in N.E. Minneapolis  and loved to garden.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years, Maynard, son Robert, and her sister.  Jane is survived by her children: Tammy Olson and Thomas Olson; Grandchildren: Brandon, Destiny, Darren, Payton, Cheyanne; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; and many other special relatives and friends.
