Jeffrey Allen Boyd

Jeffrey Allen Boyd, Sr.    Bebiskaneyaash   passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born February 24, 1974 in Aitkin County the son of George Boyd, Jr. and Patricia (Pierce) Boyd.  Jeffrey was united in marriage to Tabatha March 24, 2010 in Clark Co. NV.  He was employed with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, and enjoyed playing cards, fishing and being with his family.  He was preceded in death by his Father George Boyd, Jr., Grandparents: George & Susan (Manitou) Boyd, Willis “Willie” Pierce, Grandson Avery Benjamin, Uncle Charles Durant, his loving dogs: Baby Girl, Mercedes and Jersey Girl, and other special family members and friends.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Tabatha Boyd;

Traditional Ojibwe Midewin Funeral Ceremony will be 10am – Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the East Lake New Ceremonial Building in East Lake-McGregor.  Ombishkebines will lead the ceremony.  Visitation will begin at Dusk on Friday at the ceremonial building.  Burial will be at the Big Sandy Lake Burial Grounds.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.  To leave a message of condolence go to www.srtfuneral.com
