Jerry Ray Hatfield

Jerry Ray Hatfield, 70, of Palisade, passed away July 8, 2026. Jerry was born November 4, 1955, in Aitkin the son of Harold and Eunice (Baker) Hatfield. After graduating from Aitkin High School, Jerry worked for the family business which included logging, working at the sawmill and shavings plant, building garages, pole barns and houses. Jerry married Barbara (Carlson) Kriesel, in 1979 and they had 2 children, Sara and Dan. They later divorced.  In 2000 Jerry married the love of his life, Janell (Lueck). He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and joyriding on his motorcycle and ATV. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and wife Janell. He is survived by his children; grandchildren; brothers: Rick (Sandy), Leonard, Tim (Janet); and many other special relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be 11am to 1pm  Saturday, August 1,2026 at the Waukenabo Town Hall.   Burial will be 11am – Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Burnsville.
