John Thomas Mattson

John Thomas Mattson, 67, of Aitkin passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025 at his home.  He was born September 4, 1958 in Aitkin to Carl and Eleanor (Ecklund) Mattson.  John worked as a cashier at Grand Casino, Mille Lacs.  He enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and feeding the birds. 

John is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen; brother, Richard; nephew, Brian Sharp and niece, Jessica Mattson.

John is survived by his sister, Mary Warnke of South St. Paul; nephew, Sean Mattson; his dog, Penny.
