John Michael Wickham

John Michael Wickham, 77, of Aitkin, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin.  He was born April 27, 1942 in Minneapolis to Orland and Catherine (Miller) Wickham.  John was a veteran who served in The United States Navy.  John enjoyed helping his brother, Jerry serve Meals on Wheels in the Aitkin area and was always helping others. 

John is preceded in death by his parents; brother Anthony Wickham; sister, Mary Pingree.

John is survived by his siblings, Eugene (Cheryl) Wickham of Markville, Jerry (Dolores) Wickham of Aitkin, Bernard Wickham of Florida, William (Laura) Wickham of Crosslake, Thomas Wickham of Le Sueur and Judith Ann Wickham of St. Paul; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Saturday, March 7, at 12 PM in Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin with Father David Forsman officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Military Honors will be provided by Aitkin American Legion Post #86 and Aitkin V.F.W.
