Josephine Marie Reibel, 98, of Aitkin, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Riverwood Health Care Center, Aitkin. She was born March 28, 1926 in Foley to Nicholas and Barbara (Maleska) Cyrson. Josephine was united in marriage to David Reibel on January 6, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky. Josephine enjoyed playing bingo, polka dancing, country western music, fishing and especially spending time with her family.
Josephine is preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents; grandson, Stanley Heinecke; daughter, Jeanne Sullivan; sons, Jerry Reibel and Larry Reibel; sister, Dorothy Maleska.
Josephine is survived by her children, Tom (Alice) Reibel, Judy (Roger) Beach, Joann (Tim) Greeley, David (Kathy) Reibel, Robert (Maryann) Reibel, Ken (Kathy) Reibel, Joyce (Paul) Montgomery, June (Greg) Gannon, Jacqueline (Charles) Bell and Dennis Reibel; grandchildren, Harold, Marcia, Jennifer, Stacey, Tina, Barbara, Christine, Heather, Tammy, Melissa, Michelle, Patty, Dawn, Kimberly, Holly, Karen, Renee, Joe, Gina, Jenelle, Craig, Nathan, Krista, Clarissa, Cody, Joshua and Emma; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Services will be Saturday, March 29, at 11 AM in Assembly of God Church of Palisade with Pastor Charles Bell and Reverend Ed Sornberger officiating.
