Judith Sorenson Olson, 81 of Fisher, MN. died Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Villa Vista in Cromwell. She was born November 15, 1943 in Grand Forks, ND. the daughter of Daniel and Nora (Skare) Sorenson. She graduated from Fisher High School and then from the University of North Dakota with a Teaching Degree. She moved to Wadena where she was a Kindergarten teacher. Later she moved to Crookston to be close to her family and taught Kindergarten there as well. Judith was united in marriage to Dennis Olson in Crookston. She was very gifted musically and played the organ at a young age with her father who played the saxophone. She later played along side her husband, who played his mandolin – guitar. Judith was proud of her Norwegian heritage, she was a woman of strong faith, she loved her Kindergarten students, whom she called her “Little Rascals” and she loved all animals, especially dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother and sister: Jim and Beverly Sorenson, step-daughter Dawn Waddick and step-grandson Brady Waddick.
Judith is survived by her husband Dennis Olson;
Step-daughter: Nona (Terry) Boyes; Step-grandchildren: Lukas Eld and Logan Hicks
And many other special relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 11am – Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the United Methodist Church in McGregor. Visitation will be10:30am to 11am – Sat, Oct. 4 at the church.
